Site start for Portrush Apartments

Construction of a new apartment development is due to commence in Portrush. Co. Antrim.
Designed by The Harbour Studio, this distinctive project comprises 3 luxury apartments enjoying spectacular views of the Atlantic coastline. Each apartment fully exploits the views afforded by this dramatic location with the use of Bi folding doors, allowing the open plan living areas to open up onto the extensive balconies.
Stone cladding of the ground floor visually anchors the building into the site, while the wave form roof makes reference to the schemes water’s edge location.
Filling the gap

This recently completed house, designed by The Harbour Studio, provides a spacious home within a very restricted infill site.
The narrow site frontage dictated the linear plan form of the new dwelling. Three of the four bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, with a forth bedroom and open plan living space located at first floor level. A glazed bay to the first floor living areas offers panoramic sea views.
Church extension nears completion

This extension to Dr Adam Clarke Memorial Church in Portstewart, is due for completion in January 2013. The single storey extension to the adjoining listed church will provide catering facilities for the parish community. External finishes of natural slate and lime render seek to harmonise the new building with its historic context.
